Pagal Ludo privacy policy
Test version · Last updated 31 October 2026
Pagal Ludo is a Ludo game for phones, made by Edge of Chaos. This policy covers the test version that friends and family play before the game's release. The released game will have its own policy.
Pagal Ludo has no real money, no betting, no ads and no purchases in the test version, and no chat: players can only send preset emotes.
What the game records
- Your matches: the moves, dice, pawns picked and powers used, so a match can be replayed exactly to find bugs and unfair moments. Online matches are recorded on the game's server; matches against bots are sent from the phone. For pass-and-play (several people on one phone) only a short summary is sent: the board, how many players, how long it took and how it ended.
- What you do in the game: screens opened, tips shown, and how long matches and loading take.
- Basic phone information: model, Android version, memory and screen size.
- Errors and crashes inside the game.
- Your game account: the game makes an account on first launch, with a made-up public name. Other players only see that name. If you sign in with Google Play Games, the game also stores your Play Games player ID, so you keep your account on a new phone. It never sees your Gmail address, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
- Anything you send with "Report a problem": the reason you pick, any note you type, and the match it was about.
- A security log: sign-ins and account changes, with a scrambled, shortened form of your IP address that can't be turned back into the address. It is used only to spot attacks on accounts.
What the game does not record
Your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, advertising ID, IP address, or anything outside the game.
Why
To run the game (accounts, online matches, rooms with friends), to find and fix bugs, and to make the game fairer and more fun. The data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to build a profile of you.
Who can see it
Only Edge of Chaos reads it, with the help of analysis tools, including an AI assistant that summarises results. It is stored on Cloudflare's servers (in the Asia-Pacific region), which run the game's server for us. Google Play Games handles its own sign-in under Google's privacy policy. Nothing is shared with anyone else.
How long it's kept
- Match records, events, error reports and problem reports: 90 days after they are sent.
- The security log: 90 days.
- Your account and your match results: until you delete them.
- Totals with no player in them (for example "average match length") may be kept.
Deleting your data
In the game, open Settings → Delete my data. Your account is deleted at once and the rest of your data within a day. Uninstalling the game stops it recording anything more. If you have already uninstalled it, email contact@edgeofchaosgames.com with roughly when you played, and we will delete your data within 7 days. Step by step: Delete your account and data.
Children
The test is for adults. Children may play on an adult's phone while that adult is with them; the game records the same things for every player, and nothing that names anyone.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and testers are told. Questions: contact@edgeofchaosgames.com.
